More than 12,000 Ontario College faculty are on strike across the Province. Suggested etiquette includes respecting the picket line, expecting large groups with signs and flyers and waiting until safe to cross.

The Huron County Health Unit continues to warn people about the risks of ticks and mosquito bites. In addition to transmitting West Nile Virus, mosquitoes are also capable of transmitting Eastern Equine Encephalitis Virus, which mainly affects horses.

TVO DOCUMENTARY FILMING HAS WRAPPED UP

Shooting has wrapped up for the historical documentary 'The Bruce'. Editing will continue through the winter. The documentary has a number of components: historical photographs, maps, animations, interviews and, not least, historical re-enactments.
