FAIRY LAKE ASH TREE REMOVAL TO START SOON

A transformation of Fairy Lake in Southampton is about to get underway as around 500 infected ash trees are scheduled to be cut down at an estimated price of $225 000. Work will begin in the next couple of weeks and continue until the end of March.

A new study is backing hospital cleaners' call for increased staffing to prevent hospital infection deaths. The study, called Hospital-Acquired Infections: Stop Preventable Deaths, was released by the Ontario Council of Hospital Unions.
