Teens between the ages of 15 and 18 are being hired to visit stores to see if they can buy tobacco and electronic cigarette products. Working with Tobacco Education and Enforcement Officers, the youth will visit retailers across Grey Bruce.

GODERICH APPROVES HYDRO MERGER

A vote of 4 to 1 has given the town of Goderich the go-ahead to merge the Goderich Hydro with Erie Thames Power Lines. Town Council voted on the merger and the agreement will see the two electrical utilities join forces in the new year.

Huron County Provincial Police are warning of bogus charity scams. Recently a Huron East resident received a call from a man who claimed he worked for a children's charity in India, and the caller requested a donation.
