South Bruce OPP received a report of a break-in on Scott Street in Kincardine at around 8pm Sunday, December 4th. Sometime between November 24th and December 4th the residence was forcibly entered.

On Thursday December 1st volunteers and staff of Huron County, the Health Unit and the Huron County HIV/AIDS Network (HCHAN) handed out red scarves and ribbons to engage people in talking about the local significance of HIV/AIDS in hopes to increase the public?s awareness.

MUNICIPALITY UPDATES CEMETERY FEE SCHEDULE

Kincardine is following what is termed best-practise. The Municipality is transitioning its cemeteries to user-pay facilities. As it stands now, ratepayers absorb a one hundred thousand dollar cemetery maintenance deficit each year.

South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police are thanking the public for its assistance in locating a Hanover man on-the-lamb. myFM told you almost two weeks ago (November 24th) that police were looking for 24-year-old Shawn Oehring.

The OPP have warned you not to dope and drive. Not heeding the warning, a 34 year-old Goderich man will be in Court later this month on drug-related charges stemming from a weekend traffic stop.

UPDATE ON FATAL ACCIDENT NEAR VANASTRA

There's been a fatal accident on Highway Four near Vanastra. Ontario Provincial Police say their officers, members of the Huron County Paramedic Services and Central Huron firefighters attended the scene of a two-vehicle crash Tuesday at 4:35 PM.
