HURON COUNTY PURSUES NEW CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER

Huron County is in search of a new CAO, as it was recently announced that Brenda Orchard would be leaving effective August 2nd. Orchard has taken on the role of CAO for Lennox and Addington in Eastern Ontario. She explains leaving is a personal choice.

You may be wondering 'WATTS' up with the potential new lights at the Bruce Avenue soccer field. Earlier this year, EMC Power Canada Ltd., expressed an interest in becoming involved and donating in a project to add light poles to the pitch.

Multiple areas across Midwestern Ontario are currently experiencing flooding conditions. Last night, a large amount of rain fell across the region with amounts ranging from 20mm up to 149mm in some areas.

A flood watch and flood warning is currently in effect for the South Saugeen River watershed. Rainfall occurred over all of the Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority Watershed last night, with amounts ranging from 20mm up to 149mm.

Yesterday, Mayor Anne Eadie and new myFM General Manager Gord Dougan took a tour of Kincardine. Gord is a native of Mississauga, but has been a resident of Hanover since 2003 where he worked at the Hanover Raceway until quite recently.
