HORSE KILLED IN COLLISION OUTSIDE OF KINCARDINE

One horse has been killed in a collision just North of Kincardine. South Bruce OPP say they responded to the collision on May 11th which involved a pick up truck and a corn planter being pulled by two horses.

PANOVKSI TRIAL UPDATE

The first degree and attempted murder trial for 73-year-old Boris Panovski is continuing in a Goderich court. The Crown continued calling witnesses on Tuesday most of whom were Provincial Police officers who responded to a shooting call in 2014, at the Hullet Marsh.

THE GREY COUNTY OPP RELEASES GUN AMNESTY RESULTS

Through the OPP's gun amnesty program, officers took in hundreds of firearms and over 12-thousand pieces of ammunition. Grey County police had 19 turned in including, 13 rifles, 3 shot guns and 37-hundred pieces of ammo.

MULTICULTURAL EVENT EMBRACES INCLUSIVENESS

Kincardine's 16th annual multicultural night had the parking lot packed and a line-up out the door to get in. For the first time this year, each participating culture took part in a parade, and placed their flag next to Canada's.

NEW MAYOR FOR SAUGEEN SHORES

Saugeen Shores will be getting a new mayor. Current Mayor Mike Smith has told MyFM he will not be running in the next municipal election. He has over 20 years of being involved in politics, and is completing his third term as mayor this year.
