The Municipality of Kincardine has been recognized for yet another achievement. At the Association of Municipalities of Ontario Conference held in Ottawa this week, the municipality was honoured for its use of the Federal Gas Tax fund.

Bruce Power wants to build a new training facility in Kincardine. They have proposed to erect a 128,000 square foot facility behind the Sutton Park Mall for approximately 330 office area employees and 150 training area employees.

A 21-year-old has died after being kicked by a horse last week in Huron-Kinloss. South Bruce OPP along with Bruce County EMS responded to a call on Bruce Road 6 in Huron-Kinloss township just after 7 p.m. on August 11th, 2017 about a man being injured by a horse.

Police are searching for a woman who they believe may have overdosed on drugs. Just before 4:30pm on Wednesday afternoon, Hanover police were called about a suspected overdose in the 300 block of 10th street where a woman was found with no vital signs.
