HEROES HONOURED FOR QUICK RESPONSE TIME IN LIFE-OR-DEATH SITUATION
8/10/2017 6:02:39 AM

3 OPP officers and 2 paramedics in Huron County are being recognized after acting quickly in a situation that could have ended up much worse.

At the County's most recent council meeting, Councillor Jim Ginn with the assistance of Emergency Services Chief Jeff Horseman recognized the 5 individuals for their efforts in saving an individual who had gone into cardiac arrest on Orchard Line in late January.

Horseman believes the quick and professional decision making on behalf of the officers and paramedics involved allowed enough time to save the person's life.

OPP Constable Craig Soldan, Constable Jonathon Hardy, Constable Ward Smith and paramedics Steven Amlin and Levi McEwen were all recognized on behalf of the County and Emergency Services.
