Huron County Ontario Provincial Police have arrested a wanted male in Huron County after nearly two weeks.
Police say they now have Kyle Moore in custody following his arrest in Huron County late yesterday afternoon.
The 33-year old Moore had been wanted by Huron OPP in relation to a number of criminal offences that he committed in Huron & Perth Counties on September 25, 2017.
Yesterday morning around 11:00 a.m. a Huron OPP officer spotted a stolen Chevrolet Camaro in Clinton that was being operated by the accused. Prior to being able to make contact with the driver the stolen Camaro took off at a high rate of speed and fled out of Clinton.
After a series of thefts throughout the day in the surrounding area, OPP with the assistance from OPP Aviation Services (Airplane Section) police personnel coordinated a takedown of the suspect's stolen vehicle on C-Line Road south of Gorrie.
Moore of no fixed address remains in custody with a video bail hearing scheduled for today (Saturday, October 7th). The accused is facing several charges from yesterday's events along with numerous outstanding charges from several other OPP Detachments and other municipal police services.
Huron County OPP would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance with this ongoing investigation.
