Bruce County is among the best in Canada when it comes to promoting economic development.

Recently The Economic Developers Association of Canada recognized the County at their 49th annual conference held in Niagara Falls where Bruce County took home four awards.

Manager of Corporate Policy and Economic Development with the County Kara Van Myall, indicates the recognition says a lot about the area's commitment to economic growth.

The Kincardine 'Pants Optional' Advertising Campaign creatively highlights Kincardine's proud Scottish roots and their connection to Lake Huron through their popular Scottish themed festivals and pipe band parades to name a few.

Kincardine Mayor Anne Eadie says the recognition is an honour and feels the year has been a memorable one for the community.
