CENTRAL HURON PAIR FACE BREAK & ENTER CHARGES

Two Central Huron residents are facing charges of break, enter and theft following a break-in that took place in Goderich this past weekend.
        
During the early morning hours of Saturday (February 3, 2018) Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call from a witness that observed someone climbing out of the donation bin collection area that is attached to the St. Vincent de Paul store located on MacEwan Street. The suspects were also spotted loading up their vehicle with bags of clothing and housewares that were taken.
       
Police immediately began to patrol for the suspected vehicle and a short while later the vehicle was stopped in Clinton. The subsequent investigation and search of their vehicle determined the driver and her passenger were in possession of property that was stolen from the thrift store.
       
Accordingly, 27year-old Stephanie Young, from Central Huron has been charged with Break, Enter to Commit the Indictable Offence of Theft and 38 year-old Lindsay Courtney, from Central Huron is facing the same charges and Fail to Comply with Probation Order.
       
Both have been released from custody with court appearances scheduled for March 12, 2018 at the Ontario Court of Justice - Goderich.
