BAYFIELD RESIDENTS CONTINUE TO FIGHT TO SAVE THE ICE
2/7/2018 6:03:21 AM

The Bayfield Community Arena Feasability Study Committee met recently, and the hot topic of the meeting was the fact that Bluewater Council has already passed a motion to remove the ice from the arena.

Chair of the Bayfield Arena Community Partners Association, Ron Keys, has been watching the situation closely and hopes that council makes the choice to save the ice.

Keys says that he's confident any feasability study will show that the arena is well-liked in Bayfield.

So far, Bluewater council passed a motion to have the ice removed before next season, only afterwards deciding what the terms of reference will be for the feasability study.
