Today is International Women's Day.

Hosted by Ontario Power Generation at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine, a number of different individuals from across Bruce County were able to network with one another recognizing the achievements of women and inclusion throughout the decades.

Keynote speaker, Kincardine Mayor Anne Eadie acknowledges all the efforts by women over the years.

The event was designed for OPG women and men who work at the Western Waste Management Facility, to discuss gender and workplace issues in the context of International Women's Day.

Similar events are being held at other OPG workplace locations today.
