Well our community has stepped up in an incredible way and has raised close to $10,000 to support her.

Thomson says that she has so many people to thank, especially the Blessing Community Store in Zurich, which collected $3500 to donate.

Thomson says that she is very grateful to all the individuals and groups who have donated, which includes the Grand Bend optimists, The Zurich Mennonite ladies group, The St Boniface Church and the Exeter and Mt. Caramel Knights of Columbus.

She need around $13,000 before she can put a down payment on a van, and the goal of the campaign is $58,000.

Thomson has a community account open at Libro Credit Union under the name 'Reese Thomson fundraiser'. The account number for which is 3542958.
