SOUTH BRUCE OPP WARN RESIDENTS ABOUT WEEKEND THEFTS

South Bruce OPP are reminding residents to be vigilant after a series of thefts occurred over the weekend.
        
On March 11th during the early morning hours, police received a theft report from a residence along Side Rd. 5 in Greenock Township.
       
Sometime between 4:00 a.m. on March 10th and 12:00 a.m. on the eleventh, a detached shed on the property was entered.
        
The list of missing items include a Dewalt cordless tool kit, a Porter Cable cordless tool kit, 2 pairs of Oakley sunglasses and four bottles of liquor. The value of the stolen property is estimated to be $3,000.
      
On the same day, police also received a theft report that occurred in Paisley that is believed to have occurred between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on the twelfth.
     
The items which were stolen from a pick up truck include a Blue Makita cordless drill and a Grey/Orange Stihl chainsaw with a 16" bar. The value of the stolen items are estimated at $2,500.
    
The South Bruce OPP is requesting anyone with information that can assist police to call 1-888-310-1122 or phone Crime Stoppers.
