Hike for Hospice is a unique fundraising event in support of the National Palliative Care Week. The Huron Shores hospice saw a fantastic turnout at their event on Saturday. Members of the community gathered together to help continue to raise funds for the one-bed residential hospice that recently opened up at the Tiverton Park Manor. Kincardine Mayor, Anne Eadie, says the hospice has come a long way, but there is still more to do.

All the money raised is going towards ensuring a third year of operation for the hospice, which provides much needed end of life care for patients to die with dignity.
