VANASTRA MAN ACCUSED OF MURDER SEEKING BAIL

A Vanastra man accused of murdering his fiancé is seeking bail. Huron county police arrested 29-year-old Corey Valland shortly after the body of his fiancé, Laura Wiglesworth, was found last Thursday. Valland appeared in Goderich court yesterday and reports from the London Free Press say the man is seeking bail. Valland will appear in front of the Supreme Court by video on June 11th. The funeral for Wiglesworth is set for today at the Falconer Funeral Home in Clinton. She leaves behind a 10-year-old son, eight-year-old daughter and three-year-old step-daughter, as well as her parents and siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
