Three bodies have been removed from the house that went up in flames in Chesley early yesterday morning. Fire Chief Robert Bell says they got the call shortly after 1:00am and firefighters were still on the scene at 9:00pm last night.

Bell says the main focus yesterday was recovering the bodies and the investigation continues today as they look into the cause of the fire.

Fire Chief Bell says the neighbouring houses were evacuated and several buildings were damaged from the fire that was full of life.

Bell adds this is a good opportunity to remind residents to check to make sure if your smoke alarms are working properly.
