ALAN DOYLE TO PLAY AT SUMMERTIME BLUES FEST
6/13/2018 1:12:55 PM

MyFM got a chance to speak with Alan Doyle recently.

Doyle is best known as the lead singer and 1 of the founders of the
band Great Big Sea from Newfoundland.

Doyle was born in a small coastal village called Petty Harbour but
now lives in the city of St Johns.

Doyle co-founded the band 25 years ago with Sean McCann who quit
in 2013 due to problems with alcohol and personal issues.

Doyle was recently honoured for his work with Great Big Sea and his
philanthropy work with the order of Canada.

He will be in Owen Sound on Friday June 29th as part of the
Summertime Blues Festival at Kelso beach.

Tickets are available at ticketscene.ca.
