As the dust begins to settle from the reunion weekend, organizers are saying that it was nothing short of a success. The Old Boys and Girls Reunion happens once every 10 years and co-chair David Patterson says it's hard to pick which one of the events topped the weekend list.

There was over 70 events in Kincardine over the course of the long weekend. Patterson says roughly 20,000 people came to celebrate this long weekend which provides a significant economic impact to the community.

Patterson says all of the events over the course of the weekend were well attended. He adds a little rain on Thursday and again Sunday wasn't enough to stop the party goers on the long weekend.

Patterson says he's glad all the planning and hard work paid off and the left over money raised from the event will go back into the community.
