Fall is just around the corner, which means it's time for pumpkin spice and everything nice!
The 33rd annual Port Elgin Pumpkin fest is the perfect way to fall into fall, and it's coming up on September 29th and 30th.
Pumpkin fest spokesperson, Dave Mensher, says there will be exciting events happening all weekend.

He adds they're expecting people from all over, including Quebec and Michigan, to enter the vegetable contests, and he hopes the record for heaviest pumpkin, which is sitting at 2,000 pounds now, is broken.
Mensher says the event last year added 2.4 million dollars to the economy, making it a great impact for the community.
Tickets are on sale now, $7 for adults, and $5 for kids.
