OFFICER SUSTAINS MINOR INJURIES ARRESTING BRUCE COUNTY MAN

A Bruce County man is facing a number of charges after a suspicious vehicle was observed at a local motel on September 8th.
    
Bruce County OPP observed the vehicle at about 2 in the afternoon, and a check revealed it had been stolen in Grey County.
    
Police say when the officer approached the man inside, he struggled and refused arrest. Both the suspect and officer sustained minor injuries before he was arrested.
    
Several stolen items were found inside the car from across Ontario and Eastern Canada.
    
The 37 year old man has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime, resisting arrest, breach of probation and possession of methamphetamine. The investigation is ongoing and more charges are pending.
