INTERNET VOTING SAFE FOR MUNICIPAL ELECTION

Town officials want you to assure you of the secrecy of your ballots during this election.
     
Kincardine CAO says the municipality has every confidence in the Internet/Telephone voting systems in terms of security and efficiency.
     
With this new system, once a voter has completed the ballot, their selections are stored and cannot be connected back to any voter.
     
Free internet access is available at the Kincardine and Tiverton Libraries for electors casting their ballots.
     
Voter Information Sessions are being offered for residents who would like more details on casting their ballot.
    
Voter Information Sessions are being offered at the following dates and times for
members of the public if they would like more details on casting their ballot by
internet or telephone:
    
? Wed. October 10, 2018 ? 2 p.m. Malcolm Place, 255 Durham St. Kincardine
       
? Thurs. October 11, 2018 ? 11 a.m. Tiverton Park Manor, 24 King St. Tiverton
     
? Thurs. October 11, 2018 ? 2 p.m. Trillium Court, 550 Philip Pl. Kincardine
     
     
Electors who require assistance or access to the internet for voting purposes
may visit the Municipal Administration Centre at 1475 Concession 5, Kincardine:
     
? Monday October 15 to Friday October 19 ? 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
       
? Saturday October 20 ? 10:00 a.m. ? 4:00 p.m.
       
? Sunday October 21 ? 12:00 p.m. ? 4:00 p.m.
      
? Monday October 22 ? 8:30 a.m. ? 8:00 p.m.
