Bluewater Council has reached an agreement with Pioneer Park and a private homeowner owner to combat the erosion shown along the shoreline in Bayfield.
Mayor Paul Klopp said the municipality owns part of the road impacted, and wants to see a resolution.
What the project actually entails is placing armor stone materials and improvements at the lower lake bank at the west end of Bayfield Terrace.
Klopp said they will award the tender during their last January council meeting, and the municipality will put towards about $102,000 for the project, while the Park will be in around $70,000, and the homeowner will chip in about $40,000 of their own money.
The project has to be done by early Spring, Klopp says, and the plan is to jump on it as early as February.
